Don't be stupid, of course it is. Anyone who says otherwise is just looking for excuses.

What I don't get is, why would you even consider it anyway? If you don't care enough for somebody that you'd risk behavior that can be misconstrued as cheating, break up with them. It'll save you a lot of drama.

That's not being practical, that's being poor and desperate.

Just because they're poor doesn't mean we should loosen our standards of behavior for their sake, it's things like these that reflect poorly on all of us. Not only on an international scale, but on a personal scale too. A growing acceptance for a severe lack of dignity is immeasurably damaging for an immature society like ours.

Marrying off your daughters to foreigners for financial reasons was bad enough, now we're skipping the marriage and just jumping straight into the degradation. Bravo.

If their lives really are so pointless that they would likely not amount to anything beyond day-to-day survival, the only decent thing they can do is to both starve to death.
