Prime Minister Ayrault will end his visit in Cebu where he will witness a presentation on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, which will be partly financed by the Agence Francaise du Developpement (AFD), the French government's development cooperation arm. AFD has been supportive of Aquino administration's development priorities particularly in the areas of climate change, green infrastructures, sustainable urban development and services including transport, water supply and sanitation, agro-forestry and biodiversity protection, and capacity building for local government units.

Several points I see this as a big challenge: Interested to see How ...

We make additional bus lanes , when its even hard to clear space to widen roads - hence all these inadequate flyovers.

Lessen Jeepneys, Taxi's , private transpo ? - don't see any other way to decongest traffic - maybe employ some of these current public vehicles to work in this so called BRT , kana kung mo sugot.

I'm hoping it won't be a logistics nightmare

Think we all want less traffic but I can't see it being done without really deciding on current public transportation on road today.

Currently in Paris, France.
Visited HK, Geneva, Frankfurt, Budapest and Amsterdam in the last 2 weeks.
For me, BRT System would promote a regular bus route at certain times of the day which would cut traffic and enhance timeliness and efficiency of our jobs. But this would only last for 5-8years due to increase in population.

Sooner or later, we need highspeed trains to de-congest the traffic. But we call got to start somewhere.

Hopefully snatchers, parking barkers, etc. will be lessened.

i still think this is a good plan pero what about the jeepneys? sa kadaghan sa jeepneys and the narrow roads , samot na og naay mga buses, just look at metro manila, gahuot sa mga buses and jeepneys.
