i heard some stories before from MNLF fighters who enjoyed their life in peace, working peacefully with their family. although some, became government soldiers, but they said they were happy serving the country. maybe mao pud ni unya ang mahitabo sa mga milf fighters. maayo unta peaceful na ang mindanao, the promise land.

What will be in the “Annex on Power Sharing,” “Annex on Wealth Sharing,” and “Annex on Transitional Arrangements”? How exactly will power and wealth be shared in the future?.

How convenient. Binisaya pa, hayahaya. Is this how confident they are that peace will be achieved in mindanao or is this some sort of preparation? And malacanang has no comment on this.

I took these shots in Lanao del Sur, October 1997. The two firing squad victims were accused of frustrated murder, found guilty by the MILF's Shariah Court. The photos and stories ran for nearly a week on Page 1 of the Inquirer. AsiaWeek also ran one pix for a 2-page spread for its yearend issue.
