though I have nothing against japanese cars pero lately karon gani ang toyota philippines mismo nag recall pod daghan kau units kay naa defect sa production Toyota recalls 22,000 units of various models | Inquirer Business so it means di gyud perfect ang production sa cars inspite of any brand and model.

regarding aning "RECALL", its really not a recall na kuhaon imong car... basically, wala pa incident nahapen ani, its just that sa cge og pangita og flaw sa Toyota (constant improvement), na found out lang nila na ang mga units made in 2006 up to may 31, 2010 na YARIS, ALTIS, CAMRY and RAV4 ky wala ma butangan og specialized lubricant sa power window switch sa driver side. because wala ni, naa daw tendency if mo pilit cya og mo cause og overused sa motor sa power window.

so ang resolution sa Toyota, is panawagon ang mga specific cars with specific serial numbers, nya butangan ra to og lubricant ang switch para d mahapen. it will only take 30min to 1 hour ang pag lubricate...

In Toyota's side, we speak out the issue before ma happen. as of now, wala pjd issue.. kanang gi butang sa news, gi over react rna. amo gi clarify sa Toyota Japan, no known issue daw ni arise. sa ilang pag cge2 og test sa mga units, dira na nila na sakpan.

yes, d jd malikayan ang defects sa units, pero lain napd nang 1,000km pa lang, naa na ang defects. hehehe...

- I have 2 clients owning a 2010 STAREX and a 2012 RIO (lahi2 na client).. ang concern sa nka STAREX ky d daw ka sugakod sa BALAMBAN ky mo overheat... ang sa RIO, (kani 5 ka units then gi for rent), 3 months pa lang daw duha sa sakyanan ni hata og lain ang andar.. ila gi test drive og sa dihang na pag-ngan sila og wala na ni andar.

dli ni pang daot ako, but ni sakay lang ko sa issue na these brands still needs to prove something sa atong filipino standards.

most of us buyers mn gd, madala jd sa features na naa sa sakyanan... usahay mas mo prefer pa ta og looks over quality. hehehe..

pero ato lang jd iput sa mind always, that the reason y we buy a brand new vehicle is for us to have the convinience and comfort that the second hand (specially katong mga karaan njd kaayo) cannot provide anymore.

thus, having bad quality has the same effects with worn out cars.. cge ka paayo. hehehe...

not taking sides here pero naa jud uban sakyanan timing2x jud.
uban lemon units, and since wala ta lemon law sa pinas di jud ma uli cge nlng ug asa sa warranty. unsaun nlng if out of warranty na ang awto?

this is not a isolated case between car brands, even japanese,euro cars naa jud uban ma timingan ana.

and yes, we cant blame the owner for feeling bad and angry kay ikaw kuno beh, naa kay hapit na 1m na butang niya bago pa naa dayon defect diba? so normal rana ang reaction na maglagot kay if ako pod, makatagam.

e resolve nlng jud na ang issue with casa itself kay sila nlng pod imung only hope. insist to them nga your not just an ignorant consumer nga way nahibaw-an.

it just boils down to the dealer and imung sales if unsa sila mu dala sa situation to retain their good customer service. dili ra hyundai pero sa tanan car make.

Usahay naa rasad na sa pag break-in sa makina labi na brand new.
Amo na andan kay limit ang rev to 3000rpm, dili lapas 80kph then change oil/filters for the 1st 1000km.Then regular na na driving for the next 5000km then pa service nasad.
Follow lang sad jud sa standard pms schedule nila to insure good performance.

Naa ko Hyundai Getz bought 2007 pa, 65k+ na ang mileage and kapila na byahe to Balamban kay didto ko work (via naga or transcentral). So far wala pa jud problema sa engine side/mechanical and elect.

Dili man jud mo follow na abi korean kay bati, tanan brand naa jud mo gawas problema. Depende ra sad na sa pag dala sa sakyanan ug maintenance.
