i'm running 2 x GTX 460 on a 650W 80+ PSU. so, i think safe ra. it doesn't give you much room to upgrade for SLI, though.

Believe it or not, reference GTX570 consumes up to 258w MAXIMUM. Asus DCII consumes 298w..

the chart you mentioned above plots the power consumption of a 570 "stressed" using furmark. in real-world scenarios, this rarely happens. of course, "rarely" does not mean that it could never happen.

500W is safe. although, i agree that he will need at least 40A on a 12V rail.
(Silverstone recommends 38A - see SST-ST50NF)

don't risk it Boss TS magmahay nya kah...if madala rah gani pero u-tong kaayo imong psu, the worst thing is maguba...much better sale imong psu buy new higher watts...

CHECK the Amperes output on the 12 vrail of that SS500w modular < this should be higher than that of the vc requirement
