with regards to the video card. maybe a basic one would do. just to take the load off the processor on graphics. but the problem i've seen on forums most is the compatibility with my mobo. most say choosy ang mobo sa graphics card - and that's a big risk on my part trial and error.

mejo out sa budget nako ang hyper612, 1,995 sa pcx.. maybe the Hyper TX3 Evo puwede pa siguro..

    tnx for your inputs.
    busy at idle...

    kinda malwared to me..

i checked again mine this morning

yeah, its just 35 with 46 at 100%

im using a windows 7 gadget name : allcpuutilization to know hows my procie doing

and also this : Windows Desktop Gadgets - All CPU Meter Version 4.0

    and a network utilization meter

to clean up, use Combofix.exe from bleepingcmputers.com

regarding the Videocard, any PCI-E VC will run on ur B75board < this is a nice board

as long as IT FITS the budget and Power Supply capacity

    what's your PowerSupply anyways?

what heavy apps are you using? what versions?

cuz videocard nowadays helped a lot in doing heavy apps like photosop | cad | 3D render

CUDA for Nvidia and the Open GL for ATI

what i meant busy was the cpu usage on the task manager, there's always an activity. it does not become idle like the older processors.

i don't agree with malwared. coz i have comodo firewall, avira anti-virus,spywareblaster,search and destroy, emsisoft anti-malware..all clean, nothing found. used to practice 2 anti-virus last time, with also avast. but it gets annoying if they detect a virus. they would be competing with each other. that's why i removed the 2nd one.lolz

maybe it's because your not using the IGP and you have a separate video card. that's why your processor is not burdened.

can't find that allcpuutilization, but was able to install that cpu meter - nice gadget(more useful utilities added on my list, lolz).

with regards to the video card. maybe this very basic and cheap one would do. the asus en210
ASUS - Graphics Cards- ASUS EN210 SILENT/DI/1GD3/V2(LP) i'm not a gamer. only intellectual games, puzzles etc. interests me. where your intelligence would be challenged. not those war freak or useless games.

i think its better than the IGP specs.

my power supply is silverstone ST-50F-ES

with regards to the programs i'm running..hehe secret!. but it uses a lot of graphics in real time.

was planning to buy that coolermaster hyper612, then i saw a sample photo on their website inside the pc.. geezz..its huge,it will never fit on my case as the power supply is above the mobo. that hsf would only apply to those modders where their ps is at the bottom... huhuhu.. so i guess i'll have to go with the smaller one hyper tx3 evo.

do not buy that GT210, that's a lame card.got that one..waste of money

a GT220 or GT440 wud be great at power consumption vs performance vs price

    + 1 for hyper tx3 evo
its more than enough for your need imo since you will not overclock. just add 92mm fan for push & pull config.

ah ok. thanks for the advise. but what brand you can recommend? i'm not so familiar with the good and reliable brands in video cards coz ever since i'm just relying on the onboard video on the mobo.

oic. as i was searching and reading different reviews of hyper tx3 evo. most say better get hyper 212 evo. as i dig deeper. i found something interesting. a brand named enermax. anybody who has enermax ETS-T40-TA? with just a few hundred more for 1.5k in pcx Enermax ETS T40 CPU COOLER - Fans & Coolants - Accessories (was the only one of its brand-looks unwanted and unheard of.. but) was much better than hyper 212 evo and even hyper612) more positive reviews

    ENERMAX - Product

    the more undecided..lolz

dont forget to check the cpu cooler height, your casing should be wide enough to fit it.

    136mm - tx3 evo
    159 mm - 212 evo.

i was gonna get a 212 evo but i found out that my case only supports coolers up to 158mm. (1mm wtf!) so i decided to go with tx3, otherwise the 212evo cooler would hit the side panel.

    yeah, thanks for the advise.

    lolz, 1mm short..hehe!

as i was researching for this cpu cooler and an optional graphics card. i was surprise with the power consumption this video cards have! lolz! even the basic GT210 consumes 31W of power, wow! and wattage goes up further as your model increases. they surely are power hungry..lolz!

which i'm very particular with, coz i'm using my pc almost 8-12 hours a day. that additional wattage would surely add to my monthly electric bills.

that's why i researched further more on less power hungry video cards. and found the radeon 5450 was less wattage of just 19W max.

my question sa mga masters. would that ati radeon 5450 work on intel processor board? as i can see its all AMD stuffs on the specs and box.. is it exclusively for AMD? and the nvidia for intel??

with this thought, now i'm more convince to buy a much over rated cpu cooler instead(hyper 612 pwm or that enermax t40-tb).. lolz! so only 2-3W of power(fan power) is only added instead of those bigger wattage in video cards..

    update::

lolz! ended up buying CM Hyper 212 Evo Turbo Edition. it was a blessing in disguise of some sort. after some unforeseen events like was there in pcx to buy enermax t40. the item was on the display stand. i said i'll take it. upon asking my personal details and checking the inventory, only to find out it was already reserved to somebody else.. tsk tsk tsk.. then there was this seller in tipidpc whom i deal with for CM Hyper 612 pwm. he said he would be coming to cebu last weekdays. i've waited and waited for him. but no communication.. only yesterday he emailed that his flight was cancelled to cebu. lolz.. so i ended up with hyper 212 evo. in between tx3 evo and 612 pwm. and i think it was meant to be..hahaha! coz i get more than i bargain for..

i never expected that there would be 2 fans. 1 fan free.lolz! i was quite hesitant at first coz the box was different. not the usual type like that of 612pwm white box. this turbo edition was dark and fancier.. hehe!

and it just barely touches the side panel upon installation...whew! what a relief, i was anticipating that it would go beyond the chassis side panel. was beginning to canvass wider chassis then.. good that i don't have to buy again anything.lolz!

only installed one fan. the push pull configuration i think is not practical if only 1-2deg difference in temperature. that's another 3 Watts of extra power consumption. i rather reserve the 2nd fan just in case the first one goes broke.lolz!

from the stock intel hsf averaging 40-45 degrees in normal usage. now, im getting around 35-40 degrees. not bad. at least a bit cooler.hehehe! but not what i really expected from this cpu coolers. i ideally expected it to be 10-20 degrees cooler.. i guess i was wrong..

at least i won't be buying a video card for my normal desktop computing and a additional monthly electric bill.. 3 Watts of the hyper 212 evo is better than 35 watts of the video card

i'd get the 212 evo, if i remember correctly its fan or heatsink is better than the tx3

edit: sorry, i see youve bought it already.
