With that amount no wonder I don't want to pay my taxes. We here this every now and then. Politicians placing their own interest above their contituents and our country. The sad thing about it is that we don't do anything about it. We're far off from being a first world country.

I'm just waiting for the Office of the Ombudsman to act accordingly as to the results of its probe. Taxpayers will definitely be angry since their taxes were put in pockets of some erring public officials. We should not tolerate this.

At least, this was scrutinized amidst the success of ASEAN Summit. It looks like the Office of the Ombudsman is very much doing its duty to be the watchdog of the government.
