    i think not
    just practical

yes they are using old tech
but are they are at the point of phase out and discontinuattion
then they sell it to us
    which we then call "modern"

    my point of view is
we will never be able to modernize enuf to keep up (as of the moment)
we do not have enuf resources
it is wiser for us to ally with other nations

    anyways
we can have better uses for the money they are investing
healthcare takes more priority compared to war readiness
economy needs a ton of help
education i dont know where to begin

again these are just my worthless opinions
if you dont like it suck it up

^ WE are already ALLIED with other nations. That's why they're giving/selling/trading arms to us in the first place. YES these things might be obsolete but they're operational. Besides, LOOK around you, we aren't even in such "power" to defend ourselves from external forces.

The way you talk somehow bit my tongue off its gut. Do you even know how the economy works? HEALTHCARE by the way is under a different department not associated with AFP. That said, there are things allocated to this, to that etc. Education? its under a different department too. But I think you need more education than I do.

    OT

its good if you placed chords on top of every line so that we can sing to it.

Your post suggest that defense gets more priority but guess what, defense gets one of the smallest piece of the pie, if not the smallest. I think that's why someone told you to do research first.
