You've all heard about the case of 17 students in Jaclupan National High School.

Is it really a case of Demonic Possession/Infestation or a case Mass Hysteria (or some mundane natural cause)?

It's a question for you to answer. But I'll give you my position on this matter: All the signs point to Mass Hysteria. Look it up in Google and see incidents like these from other countries. If this thing needs to be investigated, we have to look at it from this angle, rather than all these superstitious non-sense.

nagwonder man gud ko of his conclusion being a priest! He is a servant of God and supposedly be telling the truth, dili baya sya scientist....hehe. He is somewhat misleading people about the truth of the presence of demons/evil in this world.

I really dont know what took place but based on the report published nga naa sad parent nga na possess aside from the students, dili nasd tingali na anger or hatred ang cause.

Do not put your trust totally on any man bisan priest or pastor pa sya! Pwera sa mga matarung jud, how many of the church leaders you knew that have fallen victim of Satan's deception? adulterous, child molester, etc.

@breakeven, Don't jump too quick to conclusions when you haven't done your research on mass hysteria. You should look at case after case after case of mass hysteria and you'll see the similarities with what happened in Jaclupan.

For example: Tanzania ( 2008 ). The first time it happened was in 2004 and the locals there were pointing fingers at witchcraft and demonic possession (just like in Cebu). The second time around was in 2008 and people were more rational this time.

I'm not a specialist but I imagine this was a case of mass hysteria that does happen in some of the schools....Normally this happens in girls' secondary schools. It is very common here.

Another example: LeRoy, New York (2011-12) (Just click on the link to read the article).

Dr. Laszlo Mechtler, a neurologist at the DENT Neurologic Institute in Amherst, N.Y. who has treated several of the girls, decided to come forward to offer an explanation to quell the curious masses.

Mechtler's diagnosis? The girls may have a conversion disorder - also known as mass hysteria.

People should start with Mass Hysteria, not demonic possession...and for the love of ____ (fill in your favorite god), send a proper doctor to treat these kids.

Possible sad na @bears but mas greater ang possibility of demon-possession based sa mga testimony.

Jesus is the truth, not me
Pareha lang ta part we're only expressing our views. Wala ko mamugos ug patuo sa akong opinion. The difference is I have my basis which is the word of God. Kaysa tinuod, ang taw nga tinud-anay mangita sa kamatuoran ubanan sa pagtuo sa ginoo, makakaplag jud sya and he will be confident in his conviction.
