I guess you just need to go through the learning curve... because this is something new

Here is a very good article to read that really helps clear things up...

    "Who moved my cheese?

People don't like it when you move their cheese. They are just trying to get through the maze, they have it all under control and then, poof, someone moved their cheese. Now it's a huge hassle to find it again. Change a hotkey or the case of the menus and all heck breaks loose.

The installation process was straightforward and everything still worked when it was done, so that was a relief. I upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8 Pro. There's fewer SKUs in Windows 8 now, basically just Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro (for super users) and Windows RT (for Tablets).

However, once it's installed, it's initially confusing but I have been using it every day all day since it was released and have got myself productive again. Here's what I ran into and how I realized that there's less reason to freak out than I originally thought."

Click the link below to read the rest of that article with awesome tips to get up to speed on Windows 8...

    Cheers!

Oh, it's not Microsoft... it's a company called Startdock...

"Computerworld - Stardock yesterday started selling the $5 Start8, a tool that restores a Start button to the desktop of Windows 8."
~ $5 buys a Start button, Start screen bypass for Windows 8 - Computerworld

And instead of paying $5... you could always just press Windows Key + X

But as always... you can't please everybody

and i do believe there's what we called "opposite", its why chaos always started with a little "confuse", somehow, well the choice is ours, well for me, i got these disadvantages ,check this out if you have faced these things around windows 8:
    - Metro is able to work well on the tablet but the UI is not very compatible when used on the desktop
    - Metro multitasking is limited to 2 application only
    - Very difficult to move between screens
    - There is no option to turn tiles into icons
    - Tiles caused crash

i say, sometimes NEW things aren't as good as OLD ones,XP modified is better with this one,
