    go to CONTROL PANEL and click the the SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES thn change the settings from there,....
    * Classic mode

    i have 2 soundcard in my computer and i use them both,.... 1 is the "8-Channel Realtek codec with S/PDIF optical based input / output ports" that goes in to the AudioMAX slot on the motherboard,...
    the other 1 is a SB X-Fi Elite Pro connected in 1 of the PCI slots,.....

    i like to put the volume loud when im playin CS but in the middle of the night and i cant use my speakers,...... i use my headphones thats running on X-Fi,...... and i play music on the Realtek soundcard so that my parents dont think im crazy talking to myself in my room,...

    its not necessary to disable from the BIOS but yeah it would be better to disable it so you wont have any conflicts with the sounds or your media players,.....i was just stating that it is posible to have 2 sound cards in a single computer with-out disabling 1 of them,....

    its pretty convenient to have 2 sound cards from my stand,.....
    - you can use your headphone in playing games
    - you can use your speakers playing music
    (vis versa)
