Then you're naive and have forgotten the bitter lessons of Martial Law. Perhaps you've not seen the screenshot of the PNP's Facebook page threatening a Facebook user for voicing his "opinion"? You clearly don't understand the gist of suing for libel; it's not so much about convicting people as it is harassing them into submission.

You're basically taking a chance , hoping the government will act in good conscience when enforcing this law. Lol this is the Philippine government we're talking about here.

I am not naive to the martial law. My father was a martial law victim. Don't you know na ang imong gi hisgot nga PNP facebook page is a dummy page? PNP has released an official statement denying any participation to this "warning" post from their agency kuno. Google on it bro, im sure you will find it. I'm just too lazy to dig into it.

Yes this is the philippine government we are talking about, and i might as well sit infront of my computer and watch how our government implements this rather than nag and nag about it. At this point, it is a wait and see moment for us Filipinos. Kutob nalang ta diha..

So I stay positive to this law, not because I am blinded...but I see goodness to it. If you are soooo paranoid about libel cases, no sweat nalang ka bro kay the philippine libel law only has 1 year prescription period.
