this is not a WELL-THOUGHT law. with this law around, it made me 100% sure that the majority of people in congress and senate are a waste of tax payer's money. they're not there for the betterment of filipinos, they're there for some other reason. and i cant even say out loud what bcoz this stupid law will prolly get me in trouble.

But I'm not amused by this stunt by the PH government. Have they not anything better to do? They can't even keep the DOH website invulnerable to hackers, now they're talking about cyber law enforcement. Who are they protecting by the essence of this law? Filipino movie makers?

Acting like Philippines is valuable online resource center. Pfff
Absolutely right. This bill covers offenses that are already punishable by law, so why do we have to have this one? This country seems to have a knack for copying the dumbest and the most questionable laws out there as if we don't have enough REAL problems here already that they need to bring more nonsense in. Like Manila for instance, you can't smoke there, but take a look at that city. It's polluted and dirty, floods every now and then because garbage clogs but what are they doing about that?

The government should aim on real problems people face everyday. As for the internet, the Philippines is among the most connected countries in cyberspace but we have the slowest internet access second only to Indonesia.

That means users are paying high-price for low quality access. That's almost like being robbed.
