very fast and slick OS..just like everybody says it is heavily designed for tablet computing. You will still have your classic desktop Feels like Win7 with some additional touches.

- Photoshop CS6
- Dreamweaver CS6
- LightRoom 4.1
- Photomatix Pro 4
- Flash CS6
- Illustrator CS6

most of this are photo editing application

Laptop:
i5
memory 2gb (for now but ill be upgrading it to its max their site say 8gb)
GPU: Intel HD / AMD ATI Radeon HD 7xxxM Series (switch grahics)

so far my laptop manufacturer did release any official driver for ATI thou amd released one already but it has mixed results

very user friendly

at times when I use a computer running Windows 7 I find myself missing my favorite Windows 8 features

Any driver issues bro? I will be starting a small office soon and the dealer for my softwares suggested that i get the windows 8. concern ko lang if programs might not run properly especially the Adobe Suite.

thats my concern also as what ive posted couple post up... apparently... they only say the good side never the bad side... i too want to try win8 but untill all the question me and other it peeps will keep banging ms on their support to have it resolved....

on my unit laptopm manufacturer wala pa nag release ug driver for graphics they are waiting for the oct release...

its always been and issue jud kanang legacy application support....

cmon guys what are the cons....

i somewhat disappointed with this new windows 8, esp. the metro ui.. for me its not intended for desktop pc, hope theyl fix and bring back the start button, for now im still using windows 7.

Windows 8 is very cool if used in a touch screen PCs.
And also, the boot time is faster compare to Windows 7.
You need to learn the new tricks so that will get used to navigate programs in it.
Like using right-click on metro UI workspace and click All apps, its the equivalent of using the start menu in Windows 7.
I also like the way how I watch videos on media player metro app. If I switch to desktop, which I did by just swiping the screen from leftmost part to the right, the video will pause right away. And when you will switch back again, swipe back the leftmost part to the right. The equivalent of this in the mouse is by putting your arrow at the top-most left part of the screen.
