Cloning for me is un-natural. It disrupts the balance of nature.

cloning is our way to give back something to nature, to try to correct the errors we've done like causing many species to go extinct due to our selfishness.

    no need to be self-righteous.
Who said about killing? Cloning is not the answer to your problem tes. breeding is the right word. beside im pointing at human cloning not animal cloning. :)

Correct. Actually I have nothing against cloning, except that What is it really that we have control with regards to disrupting nature? Katong nag imbento ang mga tao ug sakyanan, and learned to harness nature's fossil fuel, na foresee ba nato ang harmful effects? Ang pollution, then global warming? That's why I'm against disrupting nature, specially disrupting nature without acting for its sustainability.

I agree. Well if we're going to use cloning for ex-situ conservation, we need to consider also the bad effects of ex-situ conservation. Like producing a population of "genetically" weak species due to the lack of exposure to natural agents of evolution. Also, limited amount of species rapud atong ma save compared to the in-situ approach which is pagan apil ang habitat and neighboring species sa atong target species.

Ex Situ conservation - zoos, aquaria, plant collections, seed banks
