ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTGES ?

Deep Freeze somewhat creates a temporary virtual hard disk out from your physical disk. It freezes up your physical disk, all the changes made are dumped into the virtual disk. So eventually, viruses, spywares and other malwares that hugged your physical disk in the moment will no longer be there after a reboot. So as all other programs installed when deep freeze is active.

Pros: protection without restrictions
small program
simple and easy set up unless its business edition which may be confusing to beginners

Cons: very annoying, you do restarts everytime you want to install a needed program in your system
still vulnerable to other b*llsh*ts like keylogger
there are already methods on how to disable it in a devil's way
bug to ever nice Nforce chipset motherboards
you need to have a big free space of your disk partition where this is installed for its temporary virtual disk to preserve system
performance
quite risky, use it with precautions or else your computer shall be a patient of mental hospital

bro ako naglagot ana deepfreeze disadvantage ana? usahay mo corrupt imo windows pero naa ko solution bag o perfectrecovery card hardware na bro salpak sa pci slot easy to manage d pa mo corrupt imohang windows mas nindot pa sa deepfreeze.

Disadvantage: You need to unfreeze it to add or update or save a file. You must also not to forget the password. You cannot unfreeze it if you forgot ur password. Once Deep Freeze is install it has a small icon on the left side of the taskbar if it was accidentally hide or corrupt and it is on the state of freezing there is no other solution but to format ur HD.

Solution: Partition ur HD. Freeze only 1 drive. If ur sure that the file or software u install don't have virus or spyware put it on the drive that is not freeze. Most virus and spyware first infect the Master drive or where the windows was install unless you transfer the file with a virus to another drive.

Best Solution: Install the most reliable and updated Anti-virus and Anti-Spyware on your PC. Don't install software or file without scanning.
