mao na wala gi-disqualify sa AI producers si antonella barba despite her internet controversy coz they are anticipating man gud na she'll be voted out eventually because of her mediocre performances daw... so i'd expect na di jd si sya magdugay... had it happened na she's vocally strong, disqualified na cguro ni sya like what happened to frenchie davis who also had indecent pics on the net...

i think not..her bestfirend (who also audition but only went as far as hollywood round) clarified that it was not her (Antonella)...I've seen the pictures in the net and as what i've observed, there is really nothing wrong with it. Any normal twenty-something American girl would be caught doing the same thing like wild partying w/ her girlfriends..As for the racy ones, i think it's not her.

main reason for her to be voted off is no other than her singing ability...a lot of girls in the competition are way better than her...

yeah..maybe some of the more indecent pics are not hers but she still posed in various stages of undress(meaning barely nude)... some americans still believe that the " American Idol" should be an inspiration to everyone and thus, be packaged as wholesome...

melinda doolittle (very humble yet possessed a great voice. i like her very much.)
lakisha jones (i like her voice too. power pud kaayo..)
chris sligh (di mailhan sa nawong pero payter kayg tingog.. weee!)

like what simon cowell said, an american idol may or may not be a role model but a representation of what the american youth is. if antonella, naked pictures and all, represents what the younger generation in america is doing, so be it, so let her be. as a matter of fact a person who has gone through some really bad and nasty situations is the one who can truly tell it like it is and be an inspiration to the rest of us, if he/she lives to tell his/her story.
guess it's time to throw those prejudices off the window.

mao lagi, ganina pwerte pa nakong rush ug pauli kay para di nako ma miss ang am. idol.. unya mao man lang gihapon ilang performance..boring. Gawas ni Melinda ug Lakeisha.

if this is the case then they shouldn't have disqualified frenchie davies before... in fact, her story was even more acceptable than antonella's coz she did it to earn money to pay for her tuition... that's why some people can't help but question the inconsistencies in their rules... just my two cents...
