samtang buhi pa ko! and everybody here who is a devoted rocker(posers not included), then rock will still and will always be here!
NO way man.....
it died in the mid 90s. IMO the 90s was when the last wave of good rock songs were released. smashing pumpkins, pearl jam, nirvana, alice in chains etc... and locally we had the eheads, yano, rivermaya... those were the best years in music in my opinion.
nowadays, the music is just mediocre, i can't "ride" if u know what i mean. all this Emo and hardcore and this new punk kind of thing. everything is just about the image. thanks to something called MTV. i even hate Green Day now. sux eh![]()
Mid 90's? What about Oasis in '95 man? haven't you heard of a band called Oasis?
i don't think rock & roll is dead. it's just that these times are mostly "governed" so to speak with mostly crappy r&b music. there are still great rock acts out there. you just need to dig if you really want to hear them. not all radio stations play a great percentage of rock music. most of the songs they play are those urban music which people seem to like these days. i kinda miss the 90s era. there were a lot of good rock songs back then.
I never liked OASIS... they're just a BEATLES knock-off...

Dead? hmmmmmm maybe or maybe not, the only thing that came to my mind was how bad the music scene is, big mess that will appear because of tha whole pirata series. madafaka sana! not only rokenrol will die but the whole music industry, including the publisher and the artist.! a big mess that we'll have to clean up. right thur?!? lalalalal yeah yeah yeah!
this pirates kills one's ability to make more quality music, dili kanang otso otso shit.
@ mano i dont agree with you man, the whole music industry wont die from pirates, only the major label industry..so indie is gonna grow exponentially here in the phils...
and pirates dont kill ones ability to write quality music, the pirates dont interfere with musicians process of songwriting, its the musicians attitude, his dependence of major labels that kills the quality of his sound...
Bisag indie products gipang bootleg man gihapon.... sa kagamay sa kita sa mga indie artists.. maglisod man ganig bayad sa recording fee.... dili pa ma ipa master kay mahal... mahal sab ang pagpa press so limitado ra ang ma relase, I bootleg lang gihapon.
Support Your Local Arists kuno..... pero instead of buying their CD's nga gihagu-an ug himo... BOOTLEG lang gihapon sa mga taw.......
Tan-aw kunog shows... pero ang uban hilig kaayo mo GATE CRASH.
