at best, you'd be able to have X6800. this is a fast cpu, but outdated, nevertheless. if you settle for a lesser-spec'd processor, you will be limited to a mid-range video card, maybe a GTS 450 (or it's AMD equivalent). this is because bottlenecks will occur if you use a top-range video card. it happens a lot in cpu-intensive games like BF3, etc.

im currently starting to assemble new one, but after i finish it. i dont want to sell or give my old one that's why i want to upgrade it, atleast i can still use it for some reasons, especially for gaming coz i have a lot of nephews here visiting here in our house and i want to let them play with it.
