And i dont speak for the sake of para ingnun lang.. yes ive been to a life threatening accident but it didnt stop me from riding again... yes mao nay gitawag ug passion.
I fractured my right femur and my bone literraly came out of my leg. I dislocated my pinky finger, crashed my head on a taxi cab window (good thing i was wearing a full face helmet)... you name it.
Im just sharing these para ma aware pud ka nga dili lalim ning magmotor nya immature pa kaau ang thinking.
And by the way... nabali ako femur just a few meters from our gate. Gibang gaan ko ug drunk driver... so think again. The good thing was i was wearing helmet mao wa koy damage sa ulo.

im not some immature wannabe rider either babbling how awesome i am (that btw was a lame attempt at humor) or claiming im invincible (wish we all are). ive had my share of hair raising almost fatal experiences back in in my teen years doing some epic failed attempts at amateur trail riding with my erpat's good' ol trusty DT125. i have some minor scratches, thankfully no broken bones whatsoever because of safety gears my erpat heavily invested on. like you, im a firm believer that accidents could happen anytime, anywhere but fatalities can very much be lessened by wearing safety gears.
i respect your opinion mo ingon ka nga badoy/ bisaya/taga bukid/ bakya ang mga ga tsinelas mag sakay rouser, without knowing the reason why they acted as such in the first place, but then again others may take it differently, like i did initially.
OnT: tabangi na lang bro be, or kinsa man makatubag. as i was adjusting my chain tension last night, i noticed ang gap sa right side sa akong rear wheel tire from the rod connecting the break assembly to the swing arm pivot gamay kaau, rougly estimating murag 5mm ra jud. dili ni normal sa? dli lang ko swerto sa terms kung unsa na nga rod. ok ra man nuon ang alighment, i think. ky i didnt notice any change in handling.
Pareho mo naay point but each of us has our own reasons why mag sul-ob or dili mag sul-ob ug sapatos while mag dala ug motor. In my case, I won't wear shoes or other protective gears including helmet kung duol ra akong byahion, usually less than 1k distance. I don't see the need to wear full protective gears kung igo ra ko mo palit ug 3 ka kilo nga bugas, I mean, how much time does it take to put on the protective gears? 2-3 mins?
