the term "bit" is referred as the basic capacity of information computing. in video cards it's how wide the VGA card's memory bus. the wider the memory bus, the faster the GPU can communicate to the video card memory.

in your example the 128bit VGA card can deliver data TWICE as the 64bit VGA card.
