...because I know him for what he is...and that is,,, a delusional, spoiled brat for a leader AND a not so brilliant military tactician, and the most important thing is, is that he is corrupt and not an idealist (like Ossama Bin Laden)....

...A corrupt mind can easily be bribed by glamors and wealth...So meaning, if these is a game of chess, I already know the possible next moves of my enemy and can easily be counter attacked or thwarted.....Why should I replace a BAD enemy with a "possible" WORST one, that would be much harder to deal with.....In a game of chess, one doesn't have to take out the opponents queen if it means that sooner than later his king will be pulled into a trap...checkmate...game over

...Now, "IF" .. Kim was as fanatic or as idealistic as Bin Laden,,, Hmmm , now that would be something else....no amount of bribery (wealth/power/etc) would convince him to abandon his ideologies......So it is better to eliminate him as soon as possible.....In a game of chess,,if the opponent gains the mastery of queen's move, it's better to sacrifice a lot of your pieces just to eliminate the queen who is wrecking havoc.

Russia is still the second largest nuclear power and ICBM capabilities in the world, although Russia has more Nuclear warheads than any nation on this planet, the US has a more advanced and operational striking system against any Country and is ready 24/7 in case of immediate war.

Russia still opposes the US on many key issues in the world. Anything that goes down to a violent conflict they may be more inclined to start something apocalyptical.

Another thing, Putin is a former KGB, and is ready to re-assimilate a new fundamental organzing body ( A newer KGB) to establish and protect the so-called Eurasian Alliance.
