lol you criticize PNoy for the dismal growth in 2011 because of almost zero government spending and comparing it to gloria's 2010 8% growth when in fact she did nothing significant, the growth is largely attributable to 2010 being an election year. omg. now i learned from 'economy expert' (of course, that's sarcasm) romeojin.

now that government is spending, reklamo na sad ka?

omg. you want the government to save a car company who's having a hard time selling their cars? now, you know much about the economy.

for someone like you, you deserve to have Kris as president in 2016.

While this is good news, the more critical question is 'will this translate to more jobs?' jobs for the majority needing them like manufacturing jobs? Or will this benefit only those who can place their money in short to medium term investments? The way i see this, it will only widen the gap between the monied and those seeking jobs to get by.
“Many corporates are taking this opportunity to borrow,” Francisco explained. “If you believe in the Philippines’ growth story, this is a good strategy. If you believe the peso will appreciate, then investing in peso assets makes sense.”

Export factories are hurting due to the strong peso. Importers are happy with this, as they can buy for less. But do they reflect their savings by lowering prices? Again, is this good news to the common Juan dela Cruz?
