For the record!!!!! Interracial marriage are between a MAN and a WOMAN. That entirely makes it a different story! Saun!!!!

Actually it isn't a different story, the people just over 50 years ago viewed it as an abomination as well.. see the correlation now? Popular opinion is not always right as history has been so kind to teach us

You got a good point there. Sadly, our nation's dominated by the dogmatic Catholic church.

Unfortunately for them, fewer and fewer men are entering the seminary to become priests.

This is anecdotal, not sure of the exact figures but its from the clergy themselves

It is bittersweet, on one hand I cherish the values taught to me as a child: that every human being is worthy of love and that we are all equal.

On the other hand, It pains me to see that the institution that has taught me whats right from wrong has put me in a position directly opposite to theirs on a particular issue. I cannot in good conscience give in to the sway of bigotry and treat my fellow men as anything lesser than what they are. Humans.
