Philippine Navy is evaluating Oto Melara 76mm Strales naval gun system
According to IHS Janes the Philippine Navy is evaluation Oto Melara’s advanced 76 mm smart munitions other wise known as DART (Driven Ammunition Reduced Time of flight) guided projectile.
This special ammunition will be use for Philippine Navy’s fleet of former royal navy peacock class patrol vessels such as BRP Emilio Jacinto, BRP Apolinario Mabini, BRP Artemio Ricarte and for the two BRP Gregorio del Pilar Class frigate.
DART ammunition can be fired by the 76mm Strales system, that presents new features:
double ammunition feeding system,
digital console
guidance antenna
gun shield
electronic equipment specifically designed for the DART ammunition guidance.
This System is the most effective response to the emerging requirements for medium caliber naval guns, demanding the highest level of lethality within evolving scenarios in Air Defence as well as in Anti Surface actions
New Boats for the PNP in Palawan...

Pursuing its pivot to Asia strategy, the United States on Thursday handed over to the Philippines new equipment to improve surveillance and law enforcement operations in the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea) as President Benigno Aquino prepared to meet China’s leader for talks that may include territorial disputes in those waters.
US Ambassador to the Philippines Harry Thomas turned over to police and local government officials in Palawan province two new patrol boats and two boat-towing pick-ups to support the Philippine National Police Special Boat Unit (SBU) in the island province.
The United States is also helping the Philippines build a new SBU outstation on Balabac Island, off Palawan’s southernmost tip close to Sabah in Borneo.

that was days before the ceremony... after the ceremony gigamit nana... according sa ako naka storya nga medja... it is intended to boost up security sa honda bay (apil na ang dos palmas).. it will be operated by SAF
and about anang dodge ram... for me wrong vehicle jud kay grabe kay na mokaon ug gasolina.... toyota hilux untana to... aw hinuon donated man na sa US
