Aside from the fact that this post by high_heels has irresponsibly diminished a homosexual human being into a dog (which is just heartless and incredibly offensive), people should know that the law can and has been amended numerous times, usually to improve it. That's exactly why little discussions like these matter, because it can possibly be a precursor to a deeper understanding of tolerance in this wildly homophobic country of ours.

Even in the US, which is miles ahead of Pinas in terms of progressive thinking and tolerance, gay marriage is still a hotly debated and very divisive issue. So I doubt this will even see the light of day in Pinas. Not with the Catholic church (which is teeming with gay priests, btw) at the helm. The hypocrisy is unbelievable.

Kung basahon nato ang bill of rights sa atoa constitution, murag fair naman na sa tanan regardless of gender/s3x. Wala man makababag ninyo kung gusto mo magpakasal(same s3x marriage), pero ayaw na lang na ninyo ipamugos na i-recognize sa constitution og sa simbahan. Bisan pa og makasulod ang Lad2x partylist sa kongreso, tangasunon gyud na kaayo ang inyo dalan na agian.
