The last time i saw "dukoy" money in the hands of ordinary people was in the 80's. Some scammers and treasure hunters use "dukoys" to lure people into financing their endeavors..

Many people still don't know that "dukoy" have no value even to collectors.

I have some Japanese peso fiats, most I got from my grandfather.

BTW, they call it Mickey Mouse because it is an old slang for something petty, trivial or worthless. Of course this came about after the Americans liberated the Philippines. It didn't come about while the Japanese occupied the Philippines because even though it was a hyperinflated currency, it had SOME value.
