Motion Comic Project?

Lisod kaayo i himo ug full live action movie ue tungod sa logistics and skills sa actors ky superhero/martial arts films aq hilig gd .and I dont think na kaya pd nako mag full animated feature rn.

so naka huna huna ko na mag himo motion comic series. prime example of a motion comic would be ang Astonishing X-Men na motion comic, naa mn sa youtube, check lng ninyo did2. curious lng ko if naay mga tao dwe who wants to go on board.

sa art section, galibog pa ko if either i hand drawn nako or photo manipulation where I trace tableau photos like this concept piece i did.




this way I can do everything much faster. but it would be nice if naay inker ug colorist na maau na mutabang nako pra mas dali mahuman pd gd. mas elaborate pd ang scenes akong mahimo. would need a good photographer if naay gusto diha hehe.

Sa music score, primarily akong banda ang mo provide sa music score. but it would be nice if naay mga lain artists diha na gusto mo contribute pd pra mas diverse.

open ko for voice actors pd, I have a few friends who are very talented on this but i would not mind more people to come on board.

story line and scene concepts are more or less done na na. but more or less ang script sa dialogue wala pjd masugdan ky so far aq friend na ako gi assign ana dle kaau realistic mo dala ug write, mura noon ug anime/tokusatsu iya dating. im going for a Wachowski brothers/Cristopher Nolan feel gd.

TS...maypa muhimo kag animatic nya pakit-a mi unsay dagan sa imong sturya..rather than your fancy still image..in my opinion mas daghan pa cguro kag support na makuha..im pretty sure that would create more buzz and inspire other artists to join your project.

mas hago man nah imung plano TS kay magdrawing paka manually on paper, Why not draw on screen, coloran nimos photoshop. Motion Comic jhud? if pwede lain nga dali I suggest kani nga animation style imo kanang naa sa How It Should Have Ended nga animation sa youtube, mas dali jhud imung animation bsta naa kay drawing tablet, anyways naa kay storyboard? or kanang mga animation ni Guy Collins,, muask lang ko TS, why diay kinahanglan ug photographer? imu picturan imo drawing? pwede rman guro na iscan imong illustration,, then limpyohan nlang sa photoshop, payts nah nig animation, nakatry nako sauna ug motion comic effect for my animation presentation,, ang concept ra sa motion comic akong gifollow,not the medium exactly

@ houndedbyheave and everyone interested in the background story - its a sci-fi na everything takes place on a flying city in the not so far future. dile na livable ang most part of the earth. dile sa nako i plot out ang reason why sa first episode ako plan. tech advancements like skintight exosuits and nano implants exist hence why some peeps do superhuman ninja-ish stuff. and of course, bladed weapons that we've gone to call Syncarms ky each weapon is synced to 1 person and allows him/her to manipulate energy in various ways.

na plot out namo ang whole story and its very open ended. if you want published works na naka inspire na feel ky Highlander, The Last Airbender and Metal Gear.

heres a concept piece I did a long time ago sa city pero probably gonna redo this in a 3D model pra mas sayon ikuha ug shots.

@Ramini - lge, i thought about doing an animatic pd. but I wanted a little more depth and a shock factor. more or less like this Iron Man Extremis Complete Motion Comic - YouTube ang look im going for except with stylized photos. like anang urban ninja concept piece nako which was a photo of me.

@ stevefox - hmmm, dile siguro, g plan ko magtukod ug dot com pra ani na project na mau ang main media i feature. pero in the future, I'll add other comics/videos/articles/band music vids etc. sa cebu. like a original media website similar to collegehumor.com and dorkly.com

@godsenxy - lge,pwerteng hagoa jd. ani ako concept sa art ako buhaton mau need ug photographer:

mag photoshoot ug actores sa needed images for the storyboard. edit it on photoshop to resemble the look im looking for like the image i posted. and add in background elements, special fx/animations etc. im experimenting on this pa.

some unfinished 3D models i did thats suppose to go into the project.

this was really supposed to be a live action movie, my core group has the skill but not most of the resources I need, like a warehouse for greenscreen and proper lighting. lisod r kaau sa budget. mau mo switch nlng jd ko to motion comic to tell the story ky at least mka insert ko sa elements I need like the flying city, mechas and elaborate setpieces.. ni try sa ko ug himo ug music vids sa concept:

mau ni ang 1st vid we did, lisod jd kuhaun ang futuristic feel im looking for tungod sa logistics. dghan kaau ni xa ug mistakes na vid, primarily on some casting since they dont have the skills i require for the vid, mau namawi jd mi maau sa camera work like sa new batman movies na si Bale sluggish ug dle kaau movable sa iyang suit pero gidaug lng jd sa camerawork ang fight scenes.




ni attempt ko ug test second vid to fix the flaws sa first, its a smaller project but I prefer it to the first one. mau jd ni ang look and feel na ako buhaton sa motion comic pd.hell, if mka acquire ko sa right resources i'd switch back to a live action vid and ditch the motion comic.
