"It is something special.." She replied and I smiled. For me, it is/was something to take care of. A commitment to one another. It must have been love.
The word "love" is hidden in between the lines we were saying to each other. The 3 magic words were not in our vocabulary in every moment we're together. "Good am. What time imo class? Did you have a good nyt sleep? Eat na ka? Unsa imo sud-an?" were the common text message I sent and received.
Until the Family introduction came. Her father arrived, and we planned to go out on a Sunday afternoon. I planned to bring her in Family Park. But I have to ask permission from her father. Wala pa daw lalaki na ni-dare ug pananghid sa iya papa that time. For me, I was very honest to my intentions to her daughter, so I got nothing to fear of daw. Sunday came, I headed to her place. Wearing a Tribu strap-on sandal, a cargo pants and a white shirt. And I will never forget to wear shades.
