from what iv read your answer is applicable to gases, where changes in pressure greatly affects its characteristics (volume). it would maybe be clearer if we answer first what happens to water when it is subjected to high pressure. if what iv read is right, liquids could not be compressed, or maybe slightly. this compression thing allows us to put more water on the jar which would cause the jar to break should the water be decompressed in lower pressure. however this does not happen to water since as what ive said it is only slightly compressible. the same amount of water is in the jar regardless of the depth.

what if we fill the jar with water on the surface (full jud walay air bubbles), seal it tight and then bring the said jar to the abyss. then open the jar. mabuak ba kaha ang garapon pag abri didto sa ilawm? hehe gi reverse lang nako ang situation kay sa akoang pagtoo, the same lang ang outcome (which for me is dili gyud mabuak ang garapon, but then again, theory lang ni akoa, wala jud ko earth aning science.)
