Lol. Ang mga kaba-tanonan karon awa di naman gane na mu simba. mu simba man gane,mu adto rag mag date. Ahahahaha. Liberated na kaayo. Sumusunod sa mga yapak.

Cebuano Culture? Kapila man ko ni balik balikon oy. We Cebuano's are unique, spontaneous and God fearing. We still have Filipino values that we treasure. Hospitality, kindness and forgiving.

I cant define manila culture kay dili ko taga manila. Pero usa ra akong mga ingon. Lisod kaayong kinabuhi ngadto.
Ang Cebu mu sunod ba? Mao raman na akong pangutana. hahahahahahaha

Its comprehending that Cebu is changing(more buildings, more expensive Cars,ETC.), Cebu includes also the people/Government, if we can make a change differently from how Manila changed, like people are more hardworking and with no complaints on their Net incomes, we unite to the government for a better environment. Its the people of Cebu who can make the City far more better than Manila, we dont need to compare Cebu from other Cities, we just need to show the others that if we can make it then so are they. That will make our country prosper from all its crisis.

I feel that these questions don't equal the title to this thread , we can't base it with just mga bata , anghit , abusive drivers and loosing our identity.

Honest opinion without counting wealth , layo ra ang cebu for both obvious and not obvious reasons.

Manila is like the central nervous system , infrastructure , economy , education and my personal opinion , people there are more liberal , open minded so on , I like that fact when I walk into an establishment people mind their own business there as opposed to stare , I also like the fact that everyone can mingle with each other rich or poor in an average place of business.

Do I like the situation of comparing Manila - Cebu , I don't as we are different, do I prefer a federalism thought , why not.... can we be better in Cebu , Sure!

I love Cebu but we should learn to be pro active , less clanish , open minded , and there are better things to do than gossip.

Laborers from Manila are still more productive, more professional, and balls out more competitive than locals. Put a Manile?o in Cebu and he will most likely rise above his peers. Put a Cebuano in Manila and he most likely improves and becomes more productive.

i mean, really? are you really dead serious sure about what you're talking about? seems like it's the complete opposite except for your last sentence..

"Put a Cebuano in Manila and he most likely improves and becomes more productive."

people from luzon berate cebuanos as probinsayno, atchay, & the likes.. so dont tell me that its because of them people from luzon who made cebuanos productive.. it's because how them people treat cebuanos that they rise up to the challenge!

may i ask you? how long have you been living here in cebu? I have lived my 30yrs of life in Cebu except for the last few years.. I have lived the early 80's cebu and both my parents are homegrown/native cebuanos and yes its true that there are some Cebuanos who you call "taas ug garbo, hambugero, ug pikon" but again, the magic word here is the word "SOME".. most Cebuanos are very down to earth, "maikganon kaayo", "dili maot", "dili hasol pagka tao", & "relax".. Again, with the magic word.. "MOST"

To think, Cebuanos are not really the probinsyanos, its actually the people from luzon.. Most homegrown Cebuanos own hectares of land while people from luzon are actually the probinsyanos who didnt have their own property and have to work for the rich hacienderos.. I got that from my grandfather who said that people from quezon city, marikina city, & the likes are not really from that place.. those places were owned by rich hacienderos just like the Cojuangcos, the Aquino's, & the likes, they hired people to work for their land.. Us Cebuanos didnt work for our land, we inherited it from our ancestors!

    So, screw imperial manila!

Also, if you think that's how you look at cebuanos then why be a member of this community?
