Are we really catching up to manila and lose our own cebuano culture?
I think you're refering to 21st century of western people... not manila coz even tagalogs are copycats.

Not even close kay probinsyano pa kaayo ug mentalidad ang Cebuano. Take for example driving. You can't drive your vehicle in Cebu as if you were in Manila and not expect conflict. Usa pud dali pa kaayo hagiton ang Cebuano. Emotional pa kaayo ang Cebuano taas ug garbo, hambugero, ug pikon which are common traits among people from the provinces.

Laborers from Manila are still more productive, more professional, and balls out more competitive than locals. Put a Manile?o in Cebu and he will most likely rise above his peers. Put a Cebuano in Manila and he most likely improves and becomes more productive.

Nope taga Cebu na born and bred. Example: kanang insultohon about Bisaya stereotypes diba mag wild na.

Manila workforce e compare nimo sa Cebu? Sa callcenter duna ta edge because of pronunciation issues. Pero in terms of competency, industriousness, professionalism and innovation adto ko sa taga Manila pusta.

Matug ug alas dose nya inig ugma mura rag wa. Life is harder in Manila so it only follows that people from Manila are more resilient and thus out of necessity, more resourceful.
