I found a possible private tutor who can teach us gesture drawing (from life or from photo references). Her name is Hope Tilog. I'm not sure
if she's still a UP-FA student or a recent graduate but she came highly recommended from Prof. Fernandez.

Figure drawing lessons fees of Hope

A. P 120 per hour per person (maximum of 3 persons)

B. P 150 per hour per person (maximum of 5 persons)

C. P 150 per person (private lessons, negotiable)

Her questions (Q) and my reply (A).

Q: "Is your meeting place a closed area? We may need lighting for certain drawing exercises but for the 1st few sessions,
I think it doesn't matter."

A: I said that Bigby's isn't a closed area but I can ask one of our wealthier friends (db, zerk, ahem) if we could do it at their house.

Q: "Is your art group, an all male group? It seems you're all boys on the picture or is it open for females too?

A: The picture she's referring to is the one taken by rockart9. I said that the cartoon character is a disguised female member. However,
I admitted that of all the female members so far, db's the only regular attendee to our meetings unless rockart and czharlloutte start
regularly attending (ayaw mo away mga inday).

She can join us on February 25 but of course only if 3 or 5 of us are willing to pay for her services. Kung tulo lang, then the 3 of us should
move to another table (to be fair to her lang ba).

So who's in? Photo reference lang sa kay dili pa man ta ka-afford model.

Hey, since you're a total figure drawing noob, why don't you join the private lessons with Hope? 150 per hour. I only asked her for one hour
of her time this Sunday. If you don't like her method, then you don't have to avail of her services next time.

markyap PMed me to say that he could reduce the studio rental + model down to 5K (500 x 10 people).

As of now, we still have 5 people - cmontoya, db, rockart9, suede, zerk.

Note that this does not include an art instructor. Personally, the one with Prof. Abellana might be a better deal. We only need one or two more for that.

We have 3 options at the moment:

1) Draw figures on our own using markyap's studio and model (500 x 10 for both)
2) Draw figures under Prof. Abellana using CAA's studio and model (250 x 6 or 8 for Prof. Abellana's instructions + 1,500 for the model)
3) Draw figures from photo references or imagination using Bigby's and no model with Hope instructing (120 x 3 people max, 150 x 5 people
max)

The one this Sunday is option 3. Option 2 is likely but option 1 is probably impossible given our current financial standing.

cmontoya, rockart9, and szichri said they will take option 3 this Sunday. I guess that meets Hope's max for her 120/hr rate.

As for markyap's offer, he said 5 @ 700 each is something he can work with but I told him we're maxed out at 500 each. I feel embarrassed that
he's being very helpful and I can't provide a counter-offer. I informed him that I need to talk to you guys on Sunday to find out how far you're
willing to go with a live nude figure drawing session. I understand that some of your are still students but I know some of you can afford 500
but are unwilling to spend it on such a session. So by Sunday, all I need to know is - Deal or No Deal so we can get this thing over and done
with.
