What I meant with the advantage was because it's digital it's more clearer than the bigger film-based IMAX screens. I have to admit we really do miss a bit of the expanded images; I did try and check the space between the 35mm and action IMAX shots on our screen here and we do get a cut probably about 2 meters up and 2 meters down, a bit narrow.

that's probably why we got a not so big IMAX as most Filipinos don't know about this. But like i keep on saying, it's better than no IMAX at all. At least the screen is still huge, minus a bit of the expanded shots.

And I can't truly speak for myself because I've never been able to experience a towering IMAX. I have yet to find out really what we're missing here and hopefully I still get to see it in MOA on our trip this week to draw a real comparison.

are there still cinemas showing this movie? I checked online that SM imax na ra ang mu feature kay daghan man gud new movies taking over (like in ayala or j center or sm conso.. wla na dark knight rises)... it will be my 4th straight week tanaw saturday... will watch it every week as long its still running sa mga sinehan
