but you also need to buy the FXO or FXS add-on.. Igo ra na mo-connect ang ATCOM card sa PCI nimo..

The AX-1600P is a 16 channel FXO/FXS card which acts like a motherboard. You can connect a combination of up to 8 dual FXO (AX-210X) or dual FXS (AX-210S) modules. For example, you can connect 4 dual FXO modules and 4 dual FXS modules to have 8 analog trunks (i.e. connect line to telephone company) and 8 analog extensions (connect to analog phone). Please note that modules are not included with the card.

so mahal gawas kung atcom ako paliton k mudagan sya ug 10k k separate ang modules. how about viop gateways pareho da ba ang experience in maintaining and running an asterisk server compared sa pci-card?

ang minus da nako na kitan k sa setup murag daghan ko ma miss sa pag kutaw sa ako utok kung gateway ako gamiton..

Mas sayun og user friendly, i guess, ang voip gateway. Pero ma.limit pud ka. Wa ko experience ana nila, but mas ganahan ko og asterisk-based voip server..

wala ko kahibalo sad @ dam pero naa nagsulti nako ila TP was OEM from RADVISION. tanan man cguro secured pero how about inter-operability with other products? basin proprietary na sad ni nga produkto nila. dapat pwede ma integrate with likes of Asterisk nga open source.
