For me, a great boxer should be a role model too, someone that the youth will look up to. I thought Pacquiao is one, but with the way he’s handling things, he’s far beyond the category of a great boxer. He’s merely an excellent boxer who’s currently not a world champion and is facing opponents who are unknown.

very few great boxers are role models. i only knew one, max schmelling. great boxers are not rated for their private lives and behavior. they are rated for their skills. muhammad ali was considered an all time great even though his character is not so good. pancho villa too is not a role model. here's the truth behind pancho villa.
