But in my own opinion, although it's not your inlaws whom you tied the knot with (or whom you're marrying), it is still important that you cultivate a good & harmonious relationship with them.

Mas maayo if prior to marriage pa lang.. While bf/gf pa mo, dapat mangita na ka ways to get close with your inlaws. Coz they will also serve as your parents/guardians/marriage counselors/advisers in the future. Lain man gud kaayo ang feeling to be around people na kabalo ka na dili ganahan nimo, or vice versa. Lisod kaayo mag-plinastikay. Most importantly, wala jud ta peace of mind ana.
