600Watts Load on a 500watts UPS is not advisable.
600Watts Load on a 500VA UPS equivalent to approx 350watts UPS is not advisable too.

Having a 600watts powersupply does not mean 600watts of load so if your actual load on your 600watts powersupply is only 300watts then you should be safe with it.

The best way is to have a UPS with a higher wattage compared to your maximum potential load.

To know your actual load use a watt meter real time.
