bro basin madakpan hinoon ka ana kung magpabuhat ka ug plate sa lain not with LTO transaction. Pwede raman mo apply ka sa LTO na improvised plate. Ma hasol naka ana kung madakpan ka kay nag buhat ka ug plate not authorized sa LTO.

pwede ra kaayo imo pintalan ug puti ang plate then sa letters & numbers kay kanang green na sticker imo ibutang kanang pilit na maayo ug klase or paint pero kailangan dili ma kampat.

If I remember correctly, painting/restoring your original plate no matter how good your intentions are is considered tampering by the LTO

Like what the others suggested, better apply for an "Authorization to use Improvised Plate" at the LTO

It will also depend on how bad your Plate is right now. usually the LTO won't issue Authorizations unless your plate is really in bad shape.
