i call gerald and janice, my daddy and mommy. the reason for this is, even if they are my close friends, i also look up to them as model figures and i respect them (yes, there is much more to that friendly endearment). these two may not be perfect (who is?) but they sure have helped a lot of people, that includes me. at the lowest points of my life, i have listened to them for encouragement. lito and i are forever grateful.
