the fact that intel prescotts throttle down its clockspeed at high temps. and what better way to get hot than gaming. my rigs an intel p4 and ive already spent a great deal of moola to get this cooled down from changing HSF to psu. unlike my friend who runs his Athlon 64 even on stock HSF and still cooler (games ra). but of course thread-handling points goes to my rig
breakdown:
AMD 64 3200+ = gaming/ minus the heat
Intel 640 = apps power
