reliability and credibility is an issue, i will agree.. but you asking me to substantiate my previous comment regarding Lopeze's on the brink of aquiring HL, is open book for historians.. ask credible ones.. and if they will rebut me, for all intent and purposes, i will shut my mouth ..atleast for HL issues..

I'm also against sensationalized news. However, you can neither take away negative issues which are facts happened in our country. What the president is asking is balanced reporting. When the media report bad news, he also want them to report the good ones.

But the real issue here if its ethical to slam a newscaster in a private event. Do you usually see and hear a guest speaker doing that? Again, there's a proper forum to that. Its ironic when you say the president deserves RESPECT when he doesn't show it himself. He should tell those things in his SONA.

Is the media ethical? If I were the president I'd do the same thing.
I will have noli de castros recording played on the screen just for the people to know what i am talking about.
i would have played karen davila's radio announcement played back so everyone can hear what she was saying. i would have played the hostage taking video and the media and reporter's interfering the negotiation. do you think the media respects the president? Since when did the media respect anybody? they only respect those who can hurt them. I guess now they learn a little respect after what he said.
