Dapat naay waiver inig palit sa motosiklo.
    - waive the right to be brought to the hospital if naaksidente unya naay head injury nga wala naka helmet, dili pasakyon sa ambulansya.
    - waive the right to be heard, outright maoy sayop, if nabanggan ug lain nga sakyanan, patay o buhi pa, unya wala naka helmet. no liabilities ang naka bangga.

parehas ra ni sa mga pedestrian nga molabang sa karsada nga dili mogamit sa skywalk o pedestrian lane. No liabilities ang nakaligis/nakabangga dapat.

DTI or LTO donot even have the capacity to test the pressure capacity of helmets and on what the standard should be. They only have on hand 7000 stickers available as of last week, and there are more than 350,000 motorcycle riders. this will mean that LTO will have more chance to issue tickets to motorists or receive bribes whichever comes first. This law is very, very anti poor. There are 90 million motorcycle riders in China and you can hardly see one wearing full faced helmets on electric bikes, 50 cc, 100 cc. Underneath those helmets are heads just like ours... Are they(LTO) pretending to be more safty conscious than china or Vietnam where the motorcycle is the poor man's transport just like OUR COUNTRY.

Not long ago, the LTO/CITOM implemented the full faced helmets to the riders, the riders had to scramble to buy full faced helmets; and then, the drive by shooting and assassination crimes using motorcycles and using full faced helmets gave them a hard time catching culprits, they again banned and apprehended riders with full faced helmets.... The riders had to buy again, half faced helmets showing their faces. NOW, THEY ARE AGAIN IMPLEMENTING THE FULL FACED HELMET EVEN ON THE SMALLEST BIKE AND TO GO WITH IT ARE STICKERS WHICH ARE ONLY 7000 PCS. AVAILABLE...

These lawmakers are making a fool of the citizens. They should regulate helmets (the LTO, DTI, CUSTOMS) so all helmets will be within regulated standard. There will be no more importation of sub-standard helmets. You cannot buy sub-standard helmets in the stores if it is regulated; since, there are no more importations, afterall it is their job to regulate helmets. There will be no more stickers required, since it is regulated...... AND THE LTO CANNOT MAKE CORRUPT MONEY ANYMORE!!!.... This comment is not against wearing helmets but against the implementation of an absurd anti-poor law.... STICKER?Its only in the Philippines!

They cannot regulate the helmets and now, they are punishing the poor riders who can hardly make ends meet!! PNOY LISTEN TO YOUR BOSSES!

i agree...then after aning implementation sa law, unsa na sab kaha next nilang buhaton, hahaha.kalooy sa mga pobre.

it has nothing to do with being poor nor wealthy

it is not even about the stupid rationale of personal safety

i was talking about an UNJUST LAW

Wait a minute, when did CITOM implement a "full face" helmet law? we've only been implementing our own helmet city ordinance which does not specify full face helmets. And we, Cebu City Government, will continue to do so and not support RA 10054 as stated in the article posted to open this thread. thanks

    hahaha ug bwahahaha!

the state should provide protection for its citizens...

its more fun in the philippines.
