Its a locked processor so you're better off with an H77, pinakabarato ASRock mga 4k+ you might as well consider getting the core i5 3450 as well its already fast enough and can last you years in gaming. If you are serious about implementing future proofing the least you can do is get a card higher than the GTX 550Ti and a higher psu as well. With the money saved from getting a cheaper board and processor an HD7850 for 10k is within reach. The FSP Aurum is a good psu, but 500w is bit short for your expectations. A Seasonic 620w S12II is a good alternative for almost the same price. I'm pretty sure you can run future games with this set-up, "make run" is different from "run it on max" anyway.

pwd mangutana? unsa may deperencya anang mga mobo nga latest ug mahal ba nga pwd man tanan mobo maka games? ang features ra? ang akong mobo ky ECS H61H2-M12 Motherboard DDR3/PCIE 1 -pwd ba saksakan ug mga highend nga VC?

sa mas masabtan nga question ? nganong mag upgrade pa ug mobo? is it neccessary?

Taas ra kaayo ang 5-8 years, bro... Kanang imong i-build karon nga rig ky hinay na kaayo na for the games and applications in three years or less from now. Wala naman siguro "future-proof" karon especially that everything is gearing towards 3D in gaming and applications.

there is no such thing as "future-proof" kai paspas kaayo mo evolved ang parts sa PC karon...what is new today may be old in a few months after...

ako ika suggest is put your setup in a position nga you can upgrade incrementally...example: mobo nimo is LGA2011 based kai mao naman nai future socket nga gamiton sa Intel...sugod lang ka sa ma afford sa imong budget nga corresponding processor...inig makatigom na...upgrade na pud...same sad sa other components like vcard,hdd/ssd etc.

    let your pocket decide

In the long run, bro you really need to upgrade not only your mobo but your other hardwares as well.
While it's true that all mobos can play games but not all mobos can play all the new games coming out in the market.

Aside from that, naa ron daghan features nga gi-introduce sa new mobos nga makapaspas sa imong gaming and computing like the USB 3.0, PCIE 3.0 et. al. Compatibility between your mobo and the available hardwares is another major concern why you need to upgrade.

The list goes on, bro depending sa imong situation and use sa imong pc.
Tinamban lang ni nga pagka-istorya ako. hehe

I honestly don't think low-end mobos contributes to significant performance. What low-end mobo's lack vs the high-end mobos are additional features that has nothing to do with additional performance boost (games specifically ). In real time usage an i5 3450 for example will perform just the same paired with an H77 or Z77.

    Here's my plan:

    Proc: Intel Core i5-3570 (3.4G) 6mb 22nm - Php 9550
    Mobo: MSI Z77A-G43 - Php 6200
PSU: FSP AURUM Series 80+ GOLD 500W - Php 3500
    RAM: Sniper 8gb 1600 (12800CL9D-SR2)2x4 Php - 2700
    VC:Zotac GTX550 Ti OC AMP! 1gb ddr5 Php - 5900
    HDD:1.0TB Seagate Barracuda Sata3 Php- 4300
    ODD: Lite-On 24x IHAS-524 Sata LS/LT Php - 920
    Casing:AeroCool strike X One Adv Php -2400
    HSF Cooler(optional):CoolerMaster212EVO Php -1550

TIA!
    start with mobo :

Gigabyte Z77, since u're using adobe apps and maybe u wanna try hackintosh..that mobo is ready for a pounce.

any LGA1155 procie as long as budget can suffice.

CHANGE VC : 2GB AMD HD7770 DDR5 < this is a great balance for power consumption vs performance

ADOBE had changed camp from being CUDA ally to open CL | GL..dammit ! AMD's staged another coup!
AMD Hires Away Nvidia's CUDA Guy
to develop usage for OPEN CL

8GB is just right for the Adobe APPs

upgrade PSU : HAVE a 650W : modular or non-modular is just an eyecandy

ADOBE RECOMMENDS having another HDD other than OS drive for scratch disk
FACT : 2 non partitioned HDD are alot faster that 1 single partitoned HDD, even with Native Command Queing

2 hdd < simultaneous write| rewrite of data on 2 disk
1 hdd partition < waiting for other task to finish write | rewrite on disk sector , so it can start write | re write on another HDD sector

ADD : another 500GB SATAIII for OS ; that 1TB SATAIII is gud for files

and do not USE GREEN EDITIONS, it's SLUGGiSH.

CASING : any casing! it great to have one thats gud but not necessary for performance oomp!
CRX's PhP600 casing will do as gud

but if u want to be inspired creatively, have it..choose ur color? are u Blue?

AfterMarket Cooler : into OC? if not, that can wait

after project ends, treat yourself with a gud AfterMarket cooler

and, if you're PLANNING 5 YEARS Future Proof, LGA2011 is the answer

mga 4-5 yrs ra siguro gyud na kutob ang imo ma futureproof... except for the videocard which will be mga 2-3 yrs ra.

mouse, kb, psu, case - mas naa pa ni chance mu last up to 8 yrs.

in 8 yrs ssd na siguro tanan storage...

For me, better to invest in the mouse, kb, psu, case... palit lang midrange nga cpu, mb, vc... get as much ram since its cheap karon.

then upgrade ur vc every 2-3 yrs, upgrade your main components every 4 years then after 8 years upgrade peripherals...

Doesnt make sense to spend tons of money on the fastest videocard karon kay in a years time, that level of performance will be achieved for a fraction of the price and mas efficient pa gyud ang architecture. besides, if u get the fastest vc.. ull need mahalon nga psu to compensate for the power requirements.... doesnt make sense to me.
