I don't know about you but on my part as an individual i'm always moving forward..

You find the SONA quite unbelievable coz you were not expecting a PSP boy capable of moving the country forward.

Too good to be true? but too clear that in our current way of living, that its not real

You are right...on my own I am moving forward as well...
Kapila na ko ni-level up...inganaon lang nato...

I always thought that to fix this country we would have to shed blood.
But if he is really doing it and continue to do it.
I'll have to add to my craigslist to thank him personally for fixing the country, if ever he succeeds.

I don't know where you are currently living.
But looking at the city from the 12th floor of TGU Building, I say we are moving forward.

    Subjective ni cya na question.

If you ask a person with an 8-5 job, he would say "[The country] is moving forward. But, if you ask a jobless person, he would say otherwise.

Are we moving forward or not?

The SONA was very positive, too positive to make it believable.

my personal perspective regarding Pnoy's State Of the Nation Address ok raman pero sometimes skeptical ko kay everytime i watched documentaries TV show simang man kaayo sa iyang SONA . So perhaps, i would say it doesn't hold much weight for me. Let's see his SONA's promises next year if he is really serious, then he can count on me. good luck.

My opinion is purely opinion...also my basis not to state any facts.
But what if we look at it this way.

"We have become accustomed to change".
This concept was mentioned on a good part of the speech.

Can you remember a moment where you get surprised by a building recently built?
But then you realize that you were just surprised by the same building last week.
Or maybe I just really have bad memory.

We are so accustomed to change to the point of not being able to notice it.
Hopefully not to the point of taking change for granted.

I simply want to cherish the emotion, even if this is not true now.
Everyone can act like it really is true, and we end up making it true.

i rather not blame the president. our country is bigger than him. he may be doing something for us, but we may not know it. he cant help us all to stir our life towards the path we want.

bakit nga ba may batang hamog? at bakit may mga batang matatalino rin na galing sa pinanggalingan ng mga batang hamog? kay mao to ang ilahang choice. even their families chose such path for their kids, and when caught, blame government cause they are poor.

my family is no different from these poor families. imagine, sa port are in manila me gapuyo before. i grew up in a hostile environment. see some of those trucks which are polluting the air and goes in and out of port area? my dad used to drive one of those. and he had to deal with the local gang collecting a portion of his income. that was around 1979.

but he chose a different path. did he bother who the president that time was? did he even bother to trooped to the streets and attend rallies? no, he didnt. instead, he focus on what he needed to do.

and now he has succeeded ten folds.

why is he any different from people who have been living in poverty for the nth years of their lives? he is not. he didnt finished highschool. but doing the right things merit some rewards in strange ways.

now, i dont know if presidents have something to do with him being successful. maybe, maybe not. maybe laws that were signed before paved the way for something to him, maybe corazon aquino taking over ex-pres. marcos made his life a lot easier. but he dont know that.

about SONA, if its true, if its not, we shouldnt even bother. let the president do his job if he wants to, and lets do our part us well. if wala ka nadawat sa work imong gi-aaplyan? sala ba na sa government?

even sa highly developed countries like the united states have same problem as ours. may mga batang hamog pud didto, naa pud mga unemployed, at naa pud sige ka-reklamo.

about these SONA fashion, i think wala na ta labot ana. kay they can afford it naman.
