    Default Cebuano drivers: role models

Agree...role model sa fare increase but

the way they drive HELL NO. Sa guadalupe lang daan....mga driver di nalang jud padaplin ug tarung para mu pick up ug pasahero. Mu hunong gani beside a parked vehicle thus blocking the whole lane...naa pud uban hinay kaayu padagan kay nangita pa ug pasahero nya nagpatunga.. What ever happened to yield.

If I were Tomas...I'd jack up the fines...if they are not disciplined then they should starve and really teach them a lesson in road courtesy and rules. Their livelihood depnds on it man kaha then they should act and drive like professional drivers.

drivers sa metropolitan cities compared to non metropolitan cities, mas maayo -- ang non metropolitan city drivers, they most of the time give way to pedestrians, respect the pedestrian lanes(dii alihan kung mo stop sa intersection.

when i came here to Cebu mao gyud na akong nabantayan, sa mga intersections na walay traffic light, maglisod kag labang kay dili gyud mo give way ang mga drrivers...naa man gani maihap lang...mao rason na kuyawan molabang kasagarang mga tawo...specially girls...luoy tawn kaayo ni sila, og mga tiguwang...naa ko experience once sa intersection kita ko naglisod ang tiguwang og labang, ako nalang gitabangan...gipahunong gyud nako ang jeep...nyahahaha...bahalag hagdon sukmagay sa driver...ahahaha

i also heard from some guy who joins bicycle races, naka adto kuno siya sa probinsya outside of cebu, nndot kuno mga drivers specially sa PUV/PUJ kay pag racing nila ni give way gyud without the traffic enforcers command. diri daw sa Cebu di gyud na nimo ma experience. mao gyud siguro na ang trade off kung progressive na ang city...=)

nya mga drivers grabe kaayog pag daginot sa space, "capacity" gyud ag ila sakyanan, if moingon unum-unom, unom gyud bisag dagko pa pasahero...yate ra! wa ka kuyapi?

OK ko ani if they can twist the following facts:

-that traffic signs are merely suggestions; not regulations.
-where crossing the streets involves running for your dear life.
-where the honking of car horns is away of life.
-where drivers can pay secretly to defy the law.
