I am interested to try the pizza at La Tegola. I grew up eating New York Pizza with thin crust, dripping with olive oil, and huge slices served on waxed paper sheets from Mom and Pop italian family owned pizza parlors (shops). Most of their restaurants have been in their neighborhoods for a couple of generations. I heard that La Tegola is also owned and operated by an italian. But if he is directly from Italy, then it may not be what I am looking for... since pizza in the U.S. has changed to the taste of the people there. I simply must check out La Tegola soon though. If I don't like the pizza, I'm SURE that I can find something else to dine on....heheh.
