Differences sa Branding!!!
1. Warranty - Some brands offer longer warranty than others.. EVGA for example, i heard offers lifetime warranty for all their products. Some offer 2-3 years and ect.
2. Materials used - Some brands, lower end, just use the regular components, capacitors, chips and ect. Nothing really special. But brands like MSi have their so called, Military Class components which guarantees the user that their items will last up to 5 years without problem. That is why some brands are more expensive.
3. Cooling - Some brands have different after market coolers. Take for example Asus' Direct CU ii cooling solution. It is quieter and performs way better compared to the reference cooler on reference cards.
4. PCB - Some brands like Asus use larger PCB's than reference, this allows Asus to add features to the card that is not available with reference models. Like voltage check points on their cards and bigger after market coolers. A nice example is the GTX 670. The reference card PCB is really really small, but Asus made the PCB bigger to fit their Direct Cu ii cooler. And sometimes it requires more power consumption than normal so instead of 2 6 pin connectors which are on a reference gtx 680, the Direct CUii version, if I recall correctly has 2 8 pin connectors to power the massive Direct Cu ii cooler.
5. Clocks - Some brands pre over clock the cards. Let's compare the gtx 560ti stock clock which i believe is at 825mhz. The Asus Direct CU ii TOP version preover clocks the card to 900mhz which gives more overclockability to the card if you plan to push the card further and get more frams.
Murag mao ra na akong ma huna2 na major differences hehe![]()
