What the TS is referring is any food that is readily available, if ever any friend makes a surprise demand of pulutan, don't tell me anytime mu makapalit ug lechon, pork belly, or sisig 2AM sa kadlawon?
Any foods will do, but avoid something that is too greasy like sisig or lechon, the fat content decreases alcohol absorption, but in the same time upsets your stomache and causes diarrhea. Also avoid foods nga murag gapas ra ang content like chicheria ug other junk foods, since they reduce acteyldehyde metabolism kung mureact sa alcohol. Acetyldehyde is carcinogenic, it causes colon cancer to anyone who drinks alcohol . Eating proper foods helps to reduce the acetaldehyde in your stomach.
My usual practice is corned beef, meatloaf or any canned goods that's rich in protein.
REady it in a pan ( no oil), get some garlic cloves, and salt.
THen paresi ug skyflakes or gamay nga bread, daog na!
