Sorry double post...
Maka test man ka ana manually using amp meter. Generic vs. Gold.
PSU design will matter jud.
think of it this way, TS.
PSU efficiency ratings: (approximates only)
80 Plus = 80-82% efficiency, i.e. 80-82% = actual electricity utilized, 20-18% of that power drawn will be wasted hence, heat.
example: total system consumption = 380w = with an 80% efficiency, your PSU will draw 475 watts of power to achieve that 380w needed by your system...but that 80% efficiency will vary with load. at medium load, efficiency will go up, but at higher loads, most psu efficiency goes down.
in theory:
Gold - Platinum PSUs have high efficiency ratings, which gives you more energy utilized and less heat (less waste). in turn gets

Mahal bya motherboard maguba, tag 2k to 15k bya. MAS MAHAL PASA BYRANAN SA KURYENTE. hehe
Nice idea sad ni nga thread mga Bossing, mao diay siguro dako kaayo electric bill sa among internetan, puro generic PSU raman gud gigamit tanan, suwayan daw nako ning Gold naa bay changes in my elect. bill, so i can share & prove it. unsa ka tinood.

btaw ba tinoud ni? pero to be practical, kung savings jud imoha, either palit nlng ka ug laptop or just limit the use of the pc.![]()
